2013 Spring ToursThe new year has begun and spring will be right around the corner. Beginning in April, the Pine Hill Preserve staff will offer four guided tours in different areas of the Preserve. The tours are free and open to the public; they will be limited to 25 participants per tour. Led by naturalists, each tour will focus primarily on the plants growing within the chaparral and oak woodland ecosystems of the Pine Hill Preserve but will also include information about wildlife and geology. A special bird tour has been scheduled for April 20th. All participants are encouraged to read information regarding Public Conduct on Preserve Land prior to visiting the Preserve. |
WHEN: |
The following tours will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude by 1:00 p.m, with the exception of the Bird Tour which will begin at 7:00 a.m.

WHERE: |
Tour locations are indicated with the dates above. Field trip participants will meet at designated areas and carpool to the site; Pine Hill Preserve will notify participants via email one week in advance regarding the meeting location. |

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING: |
Sturdy shoes, a hat, water, a lunch or snacks, sunscreen, and insect repellant. |
